Als ik honger heb en aan thuis denk, stel ik me voor dat ik rijst eet met Gado Gado en tempeh. Voor sommige mensen is het een kwestie van wennen en ik ken veganistische vrienden die het heerlijk vinden. Maar als je gewend bent aan de Indonesische keuken, vind je tempeh erg lekker, meestal geserveerd als bijgerecht, snack of hoofdgerecht.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tempeh (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tempeh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tempeh<\/a>) is afkomstig van Java, een eiland in Indonesi\u00eb. Tempeh is gemaakt van gefermenteerde sojabonen, heeft daarom probiotische eigenschappen en is een goede bron van vezels, calcium, ijzer en vitamine B. Je kunt tempeh nu in de meeste supermarkten kopen, aangezien plantaardige voedingsmiddelen steeds populairder worden.<\/p>\n<p>In deze blogpost presenteer ik twee verschillende soorten recepten. De eerste is een tempeh gerecht met gember, kurkuma en kokosmelk (santen) gaar gekookt en binnen 10 minuten klaar. Ik noem het Tempeh Lodeh, waarbij ik de naam lodeh gebruik zoals in Sajoer Lodeh, een populair Indonesisch groentegerecht. Elke rijsttafel heeft sajoer lodeh. Lodeh betekent gaar gekookt en dat is precies wat deze tempeh is. Ik heb courgette en tomaten toegevoegd, maar je kunt ook sperzieboontjes en rode paprika gebruiken.
