Deze soto is gemaakt met kip. Soto Ayam is kippensoep die op je lijst met \u2018comfort food\u2019 moet staan. Ik heb mensen deze soep zien eten voor ontbijt, lunch en diner. Ik maak deze soep zelf elke keer als ik voel dat een verkoudheid opkomt en ik snotterig ben. De geur van de soep en de zachtheid van de kip waar je verslaafd aan raakt. Serveer het gerecht met rijst en eieren en kerupuk, ander Indonesisch comfort food.<\/p><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-4364 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/eatsimpleextraordinary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/oelekan1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"263\" \/>De basis van deze soep is de bouillon getrokken met citroen en biologische kip. Het belangrijke onderdeel van de bereiding van de soep is het maken van de bumbu. Bumbu is een mengsel van specerijen en kruiden gebruikt in de Indonesische keuken. Vaak worden ui en knoflook toegevoegd, daarna geplet en tot een kruidenpasta gewreven. Dit wordt vervolgens aan de soep toegevoegd. Boemboes worden meestal gemaakt met een oelekan, een vijzel.<\/p><p>Mijn moeder, mijn tante, mijn oma, ze maakten allemaal soto en ik hield het meest van het recept van mijn moeder. Na vele reizen naar Indonesi\u00eb en met name Java, heb ik mijn eigen soto-recept gecre\u00eberd.
