We hebben plezier gehad met het maken van dit speciale recept uit centraal Java, een van de hoofdeilanden van Indonesi\u00eb. Een perfect gerecht om te serveren met een <em>rijsttafel\u00a0<\/em>Hoewel het 45 minuten duurt om het te koken, is het het lekkerste kippengerecht dat ik heb gemaakt. Het vlees moet mals smaken en de mix van Indonesische kruiden in combinatie met kokosmelk geeft het gerecht een rijke, heerlijk milde exotische smaak.\u00a0<\/p><p>Opor Ayam wordt bereid als een stoofpot, daarom gebruik ik de methode om de kip met vloeistof te bedekken en te laten sudderen tot hij mals is. In deze workshop gebruikten we middelgrote drumsticks, als je liever kleinere hebt, is dat ook prima. Zoals je op de foto ziet, bedekt de saus de kip. Om het te serveren, voeg je minstens een paar lepels van de saus toe over de kip en de rijst. Nu kun je genieten van alle smaken.\u00a0<\/p><p>Raak niet in paniek als je de ingredi\u00ebntenlijst leest. Hieronder volgen enkele kruiden. Je kunt al deze ingredi\u00ebnten kopen in Aziatische supermarkten.<\/p><ul><li>Sereh, of citroengras, wordt vaak gebruikt voor kipgerechten en is een must in de Indonesische keuken.<\/li><li>Kemirinoten of kaarsennoten worden voornamelijk gebruikt in Zuidoost-Azi\u00eb en helpen de kip zachter te maken.<\/li><li>Trassi of garnalenpasta wordt in bijna alle Indonesische gerechten gebruikt. De pasta is gefermenteerd en geeft het gerecht die speciale exotische geur. Als je echter allergisch bent voor garnalen, kun je dit ingredi\u00ebnt overslaan. Ik heb gemerkt dat het net zo lekker zal smaken als het origineel.<\/li><li>Ketoembar of koriander zijn de gedroogde zaden van de korianderplant. De bladeren van deze plant worden in Noord-Amerika cilantro genoemd. Dit kruid kun je in elke supermarkt kopen.<\/li><\/ul><p>Het was voor de studenten niet moeilijk om dit gerecht te maken en aan het einde van de workshop, terwijl we elkaars gerecht proefden, waren we
