The breakfast round bars are. a good pair up with your favorite breakfast smoothie. I eat them every day before I teach a fitness class, giving me enough energy for a high cardio workout.

Most breakfast options, such as cereals and even granola, add too much sugar to your diet, right in the first hours of your day. You can skip the sugar and eat these healthy oatmeal bars instead. They are nutritious and fill your stomach. It can be a snack for during the day or sometimes I take them in my travel purse saving me money at the Starbucks checkout.
In contrast with a breakfast bar, which is soft and chewy, these oatmeal rounds are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. If you don’t eat nuts you can skip the almonds. Instead of raisins you can use dried plums or dried cherries.
Variations and substitutions? Want to add yoghurt to add calcium? Instead of banana, use yoghurt or dairy free yoghurt. To add more sweetness, brush the rounds with honey before putting them in the oven.
How to store the breakfast rounds. I put them in a container and keep it in the refrigerator, if not available, keep it in a cold room.
Living by yourself? You can keep them for several days. I always have a new badge ready. Can’t live without them.
